A 20th anniversary celebration of National Hunting and Fishing Days will be held at John A. Logan college at Carterville Sept. 28-29.
The event will get under way at a "Gala-Benefactors BAnquet," Sept. 27, at 6:30 at the college.
Activities for the Saturday and Sunday events get under way at 10 a.m.. Outside and inside exhibits will include taxidermy competition, decoys and carvings, gun show, bass fishing seminars and bank-fishing seminars.
A World Goose Calling contest will be held.
There will be no charge for the activities, except for the goose calling contest.
