The Cape County Tea Party will host William Federer at its next meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cape Girardeau Public Library, 711 N. Clark St.
The speaker will discuss the Islamic State, also known as ISIS, and evolving terrorism threats.
Federer is a nationally known speaker, a best-selling author and president of publishing company Amerisearch Inc., according to a news release.
His "American Minute" radio feature is broadcast daily nationwide, and his "Faith in History" television series airs on the TCT Network. He also has been a guest on CSPAN, Fox, MSNBC and NPR.
Federer and his wife, Susan, were raised in the St. Louis area and have four grown children. He graduated from St. Louis University with a degree in accounting and business administration.
