Gary Gilbert, director of Cape Girardeau Vocational-Technical School, will be guest speaker at the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce's First Friday Coffee to be held at the Drury Lodge Friday.
The 7:30-a.m. meeting this month is sponsored by the local office of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Missouri.
Another chamber event the annual meeting, dinner and dance will be held Friday night at the Show Me Center.
The Small Business of the Year Award will be presented. Other awards include the Rush H. Limbaugh and Go-Getter wards. Retiring directors and committee chairmen will be recognized.
A social hour will start at 6 p.m., with the banquet at 7 p.m. The dance will start at 9 p.m.
