A fund-raiser is planned today at Fazoli's restaurant from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. to benefit a Cape Girardeau high school girl's medical bills.

After spending two weeks in the intensive care unit recovering from near kidney failure, 15-year-old Becky Foulk will be going home soon. Her mother, Docia Foulk, worries about the financial hardship her family faces.

Although both parents in the Foulk's household work full-time jobs, neither has full health insurance coverage. Limited health insurance places the burden of paying for medical treatments, transportation and follow-up care on the Foulk family.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel and Fazoli's restaurant are co-sponsoring the spaghetti fund-raiser to help. Fazoli's will donate $1 from each spaghetti dinner purchased throughout the day. Donation jars will also be available on the Fazoli's counter through June 19 for direct donations from customers.

Foulk is a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel and an employee of Fazoli's.

For information call James Staats at Fazoli's, 651-6099, or Barry Pfanstiel at Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel, 335-3974.
