The Southeast Baroque Trio will perform music by Bach, Handel, Vivaldi and Quantz on Thursday, Sept. 25.
The concert will begin at 8 p.m. at Old St. Vincent's Church.
The trio is composed of flutist Paul Thompson, cellist Dr. Sara Edgerton and harpsichordist Dr. Gary Miller. All three are members of the faculty at Southeast Missouri State University.
Each of the historical instruments will be featured, Edgerton said. For instance, Thompson will be spotlighted on Baroque flute in a sonata by Johann Joachim Quantz, a German born 300 years ago.
Tickets will be available at the door. The concert is free with a university I.D.
The concert is sponsored by Southeast's Department of Music Faculty and Visiting Artists Concert Series.
