SCOTT CITY -- Susan E. Corvick of Scott City, a student at Southeast Missouri State University, has received the Earl G. Gramling Scholarship for the 1991-92 academic year.
The Earl G. Gramling Scholarship is open to students of history, government, or political science who meet one of the following criteria: Entering freshmen must rank above the 75th percentile on a university admissions test and in the upper 25 percent of their graduating class; university and transfer students must have a 2.5 grade-point average; and graduate students must have a 3.0 grade point average for undergraduate work or a 3.5 grade point average for eight graduate hours.
Corvick is a senior majoring in historic preservation. She is a member of Alpha Chi Honor Society, Phi Alpha Theta history honor society, dean's list and is secretary of the Historic Preservation Association.
Corvick is the daughter of Mrs. Jessiele B. Corvick of Scott City.
