Southeast sets hospice information session Thursday
An informational session about volunteering with Southeast Hospice, a service of Southeast Missouri Hospital, will be held Thursday.
The program will be held at 7 p.m. at hospice offices, 760 S. Kingshighway.
Volunteer coordinator Carol Keppler said the meeting will detail the role volunteers play in hospice care.
People who wish to pursue hospice volunteer activities may take a 30-hour training program held over a 10-week period. Sessions will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. every Thursday after Thursday.
There is no charge for the training. Time commitment with a patient and family varies from two to 20 hours a month.
