Southeast Missouri State University and Three Rivers Community College announced Thursday the scheduled reopenings of their campuses closed due to power outages caused by last week's ice storm.
The Southeast Missouri State University campuses in Sikeston and Malden will reopen Monday, while the Kennett campus will remain closed until Feb. 16. Southeast programs in Poplar Bluff at the Three Rivers campus will also resume Monday.
In addition, the semester has now been extended another week for Southeast's Kennett campus, with final exams now set for the week of May 25 at Southeast Missouri State University-Kennett.
Recordings of ITV classes missed the week of Feb. 9 to 14 at the Kennett campus will be mailed directly to students; however, students may also travel to the Malden campus for all of their ITV classes next week. Students with questions should call 573-986-6880.
Three Rivers announced Thursday it will open its Poplar Bluff campus Monday after power outages had closed the campus for nearly two weeks. This includes branches in Campbell, Malden, Portageville and Sikeston.
College officials have made contingency plans to temporarily move some classes to the Three Rivers center in Campbell if power is not restored at the Kennett center in time for the resumption of classes.
