SOUTHEAST MISSOURI COUNCIL ON ARTS TO HOLD MEMBERSHIP MEETING ON THURSDAY

The Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts will host its annual membership meeting Thursday at Drury Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

On the agenda are dinner, entertainment, recognition of volunteers and sponsors, and the presentation of the Otto Dingeldein Award.

Reservations are required and can be obtained by calling 334-9233. Tickets are $15 per person. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.

The election of new members to the Board of Directors will also take place at the meeting. Nominees are Chuck McGinty, Kerrye Foley, Pat Reagan-Woodard, Kurre Allen and Brian Stevens.

Honors will be given to Boatmen's Bank, the Southeast Missourian, Infinity Data Products and Kerber, Eck & Braeckel for the support of the arts council.

The Otto Dingeldein Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Arts is presented annually in honor of the founder of the Arts Council. Honorees are selected for their artistic achievement and contributions to the arts to the community.
