SOUTHEAST FACULTY MEMBER IS CERTIFIED

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Ruby L. Steele, an associate professor in the department of nursing at Southeast Missouri State University, has achieved certification as a clinical specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing.

Certification is awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center for a period of five years. Certification requirements include on-going clinical practice, continuing education, scholarly activity, and successful completion of a written examination.

Steele teaches psych-mental health in the department of nursing.
