"Watching Marvin's determination to get this club started has been an extraordinary process to witness," said Evening Optimist president Harrison. "He needed 25 members to form the club and he brought in 38. Now that's true optimism at work."

The club will meet at 6 p.m. on Fridays beginning Jan. 7 at 629 Good Hope St. Individuals interested in membership may contact Marvin McBride at 382-4092.
