Eight Southeast Missouri State University alumni who majored in social science will discuss career possibilities during a panel discussion Thursday.
It will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Program Lounge of the University Center. Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend.
Panelists will discuss: how to apply for a job and conduct the interview; the importance of grades/extra curricular activities; what to include on a resume; salary possibilities in business; industry, government and education; promotion potential with a social science degree; and graduate school with a social science degree as preparation.
