St. Francis Medical Center and the Regional Arthritis Center at St. Francis will offer a six-week arthritis self-help course designed to help people with arthritis, their families and friends.
The program is scheduled on six consecutive Thursdays beginning April 7.
Classes will meet from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the St. Francis Information Center in Jackson.
The course includes exercise, techniques for coping with pain, nutrition, problem solving, joint protection and ways to overcome depression.
An enrollment fee of $25 covers course materials including a copy of the "Arthritis Helpbook." To register or for information call Kathy Casteel at 243-5222 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
