CHAFFEE -- Six people were injured, one seriously, in a two-vehicle accident Saturday on Scott County Road 216, three miles east of Chaffee.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that Michelle Horman, 26, of Chaffee was driving eastbound on County Road 216 when she drove into the path of a westbound car driven by Steven Thomas, 44, of Chaffee.
Steven Thomas was listed in good condition Saturday night at St. Francis Medical Center. A passenger in his car, Patricia Thomas, 39, was treated and released at the medical center.
Horman was also injured, as were three children who were passengers in her car. Christopher Moore, 8, Brandon Horman, 6, and Kimberly Horman, 3, all of Chaffee, along with Horman, were treated and released at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
