Silver Springs roundabout to close for roadwork Thursday

Road work will close the roundabout at Silver Springs and Gordonville roads in Cape Girardeau on Thursday, city officials announced Friday. All driveways for homes and businesses will remain open during the project, according to a news release.

Work should last about four days, weather permitting, and the intersection should reopen on Monday, June 4.

The release advises drivers to use caution when driving through road work zones, plan for delays and consider using an alternate route.
