SIKESTON, Mo. -- A robbery at knifepoint is under investigation by the Sikeston Department of Public Safety.

At 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, a man entered Movietime Video, 206 E. Center, and threatened the female clerk with a knife, according to Sgt. Jim McMillen, DPS public information officer. After the clerk handed over the money, the suspect fled on foot.

No one was hurt during the robbery, McMillen said.

The suspect is described as a man, approximately 20 years of age. He was about 5-foot, 6-inches tall with a slim build and light skin tone, McMillen said.

At the time of the robbery he was wearing red pants, a black hooded sweat shirt and some type of black cloth covering his face just below the eyes, according to McMillen.
