Standard Democrat ~ SIKESTON, Mo. -- The Sikeston Department of Public Safety is investigating a strong-armed robbery at an apartment complex.
The manager of the Virginia Pines Apartments reported at 8:13 a.m. Wednesday that while she was speaking with a woman, a man wearing a leather coat and a black hoodie approached them, forced the manager to the ground and took an undisclosed amount of cash from her.
The victim reported the woman she had been speaking with assisted the male robber in searching the office for cash.
The two robbers then fled on foot.
