SIKESTON, Mo. -- The Sikeston Department of Public Safety arrested two people Wednesday night on suspicion of selling marijuana.
Department chief Drew Juden released a statement Thursday morning saying the DPS had served a search warrant at 816 William St. in Sikeston on suspicion that drugs were being sold out of the home.
Detectives recovered about three pounds of marijuana inside the home along with an undisclosed amount of cash, the statement said.
The suspects were arrested at 9 p.m. Wednesday.
As of Thursday afternoon, one suspect, Jody D. Owens, 21, 816 William St., had been charged with felony possession of drugs with intent to distribute.
Charges on the second suspect were still pending Thursday afternoon.
