MINER, Mo. -- A Sikeston, Mo., man suffered moderate injuries this morning after his vehicle struck an embankment.

MINER, Mo. -- A Sikeston, Mo., man suffered moderate injuries this morning after his vehicle struck an embankment. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 1:10 a.m. today a 2005 Chevrolet driven by Larry J. Littleton, 64, was traveling westbound on County Road 544 when the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve. The Chevrolet then ran off the roadway and struck an embankment. No other vehicles were involved. Littleton was taken by ambulance to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston for treatment. The highway patrol said Littleton was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
