Sikeston man shot in back Sunday
SIKESTON, Mo. -- Sikeston police are investigating an early Sunday shooting that left one man injured. SIKESTON, Mo. -- Sikeston police are investigating an early Sunday shooting that left one man injured.
According to Sikeston Department of Public Safety incident reports, an anonymous call came in at 2:17 a.m. Sunday with the caller saying gunshots were heard on the northeast corner of a vacant lot at Luther and Osage streets.
A male was reportedly shot in the back and taken to Missouri Delta Medical Center. He was later released.
