A Sikeston, Mo., man pleaded guilty Monday in federal court in Cape Girardeau to drug and weapons charges. Veril Roy Wolff, 30, pleaded guilty to one felony count of being a previously convicted felon in possession of ammunition and one felony count of possession with the intent to distribute cocaine base. On Oct. 17, a state search warrant was executed at Wolff's residence on William Street in Sikeston where authorities located the drugs and ammunition. Wolff had previously been convicted of other charges. He now faces a maximum punishment of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for the ammunition charge and 30 years in prison and a $2 million fine for the drug charge. He will be sentenced July 27.
