SIKESTON, Mo. -- A 33-year-old Sikeston man has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of Richard L. Sterling on Tuesday.
According to a press release from the Sikeston Department of Public Safety, Lee Roy "Chuck" King II, 33, of Sikeston, turned himself in to authorities shortly after the homicide took place Tuesday.
King is currently being held at the Sikeston DPS holding facility awaiting transfer to Scott County Sheriff's office on a $250,000 bond.
