SIKESTON, Mo -- The Sikeston Jaycees are aiming to make their community the "City of Pink" on Aug. 10.

Area businesses are being asked to purchase "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" T-shirts for that day. The campaign is a nationwide effort to help raise awareness and support for the fight against breast cancer.

The Sikeston Jaycees will make a donation to the American Cancer Society during the Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo. Proceeds from the shirts will help with the donation.

Contact the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce at (573) 471-2498 for special discount pricing. Shirt order deadline is July 21.
