"We got a call that they had received information about him in St. Louis," Crocker said.

Sikeston police say they have known since McKeller disappeared May 30 that he was either in the St. Louis area or in Kansas City. About eight hours after arriving in St. Louis, the task forces located and arrested McKeller.

McKeller is believed to be one of two men involved in the shooting death of Trevor Neal in May of 2003. Justin Robinson has been arrested in connection with the incident and charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action. McKeller was arrested on outstanding warrants for first-degree murder.

McKeller remains in custody without bond in the Scott County Sheriff's Department.
