New traffic signals with yellow flashing arrows should be activated tonight at the intersection of Highway 51 and Interstate 55 interchange at Perryville, Missouri, according to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release. "The addition of the flashing yellow arrow will help increase efficiency during off peak times," traffic studies specialist Jake Butler said in the release. The new signals will show a solid green arrow when left turning traffic has the right of way. A solid yellow arrow will indicate drivers should prepare to stop or complete the turn if in the intersection, the release stated.
