More than 300 prospective students and their parents from six states are expected to attend "Show Me Day" Saturday at Southeast Missouri State University.
Show Me Day, scheduled for 2 p.m. in the Show Me Center, is an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to check out their college options, said Juan Crites, the school's admissions director.
The day's events will begin with a college fair at which students may browse through informational displays about Southeast's colleges and academic departments.
Professors from each academic department will be on hand to answer questions.
Students can learn about career choices, academic majors, residence life, financial aid and campus activities.
Following the college fair, students and parents will hear brief presentations from school officials.
Students and parents will break up into small groups to tour the campus. The day's activities will conclude with dinner in Greek Cafeteria.
