Word that the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is making a return trip to Cape Girardeau has been circulating for weeks, but the Show Me Center made it official Wednesday, announcing the rock orchestra will return to the venue at 7:30 p.m. May 12, according to a news release. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. The group stopped at the Show Me Center on its annual holiday tour three years in a row, from 2004 to 2006, and employed local musicians for that show. Last year local musicians also performed with the group in St. Louis at the Scottrade Center, also during the holiday tour. Tickets will be available at the Show Me Center ticket office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.showmecenter.biz or charge by phone at 651-5000. Ticket prices are $39.50, $49.50 and $59.50.
