Shots-fired suspect given mental health check
No one was injured in a shots-fired incident Thursday night. Cape Girardeau Police Sgt. Adam Glueck said police responded to the 3100 block of Themis Street about 11:30 p.m. after a report of shots fired inside a residence. He was taken to a local hospital for a mental-health evaluation, Glueck said.
