DENVER -- The owner of a costume and vintage clothing shop is offering $500 for serial killer Ted Bundy's old jail bed.
Sue Gustafson hopes to use the bunk either to re-create Bundy's jail cell in the front window of the shop, Flossy McGrew's, or as part of a haunted house.
Attorney Don Kaufman is auctioning off Bundy's bed to raise money for a group that gives free legal help to battered women. Gustafson said Kaufman had not yet accepted her bid.
Bundy spent nearly eight months in the Garfield County Jail in Glenwood Springs, awaiting trial in the death of Caryn Campbell. He escaped twice. The second time he fled to Florida, where he killed three women.
Bundy admitted to 30 murders before his execution.
