SHILOH HISTORIAN TO ADDRESS GROUP

The Civil War Roundtable of Cape Girardeau will host the chief historian at Shiloh National Military Park Sunday at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 235 Broadway.

George Reaves, chief of interpretation and resources management and chief historian at Shiloh, will discuss the Battle of Shiloh.

The Civil War Roundtable is a new group of people with varied interests in the Civil War. The group meets to discuss different aspects of the war and sometimes views videos on the war.

"We work to become more acquainted with war and how it affects us today," said Jon Shepherd, president.
