ADVANCE, Mo. -- Stoddard County's sheriff on Wednesday said the death of a person found inside a vehicle in a business parking lot is of a "suspicious nature."

Sheriff Carl Hefner released few details about the body inside a red GMC pickup truck on the parking lot of McDonald's in Advance. As of late Wednesday, the body hadn't been identified. An autopsy was scheduled for today.

Stoddard County authorities said a witness reported seeing the truck parked on the lot about 6 p.m. Tuesday. A 911 call came in Wednesday after the body was discovered.
