SHAWNEE PLANS REGISTRATION FOR KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS

Kindergarten registration and Child Find will be held March 24 for Shawnee Elementary South and March 31 for Shawnee Elementary North.

Children who will be 5 years old by Sept. 1 are eligible for the 1995-96 kindergarten class.

Registration will be conducted by appointment only. Each child's vision, hearing and readiness for academic skills will be checked. Parents should call the school to schedule an appointment.

The school district is also conducting Child Find services for children from birth to 5 years of age. Developmental screenings, referrals and immunizations will be given. No appointments are necessary for Child Find.
