SHAWNEE KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION ANNOUNCED

Kindergarten registration in the Shawnee School District will be held in the coming weeks.

The schedule for registration is:

Shawnee Elementary North at Grand Tower, Thursday.

Shawnee Elementary South at McClure, April 15.

Those children who will be 5 years old by Sept. 1 are eligible for the 1993-94 class.

Parents of children attending Shawnee Elementary North should contact the school at 565-2211 by Wednesday to schedule their appointments.

Parents of children attending Shawnee Elementary South should contact the school at 661-1504 by April 14 to make their appointments.

During registration each child's vision, hearing and readiness skills will be checked. The child's birth certificate, immunization record and Social Security number must be presented at the appointment time.
