Have you tried every diet in the book? Are you frustrated and want to live life lean? If so, a practical class has been designed for you that will focus on modifying behavior. With the registration fee, you will receive a copy of a weight loss and control manual, "Weight Control Ways."
The class will be taught by Raina Childers, a registered dietitian from Southeast Missouri Hospital. Participants are urged to preregister by calling 334-WELL. The registration fee can be paid at the door.
Class dates and topics are:
Feb. 21, Body Composition Explanation and General Nutrition; Feb. 28, Label Reading and Goal Setting; March 7, Exercise Education and Nutrition Analysis; March 14, Exercise Activity and Behavior Modification; March 21, Food Choices and Eating Out; March 28, Food Preparation.
The class meets Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8:30 at the Cape Area Vo-Tech School in Room 105, except the last class, which will meet in Room 110. The fee for the class is $65.
