JONESBORO, Ill. -- Seven people are facing felony charges as the result of a drug investigation last month in Anna, Ill.

According to a news release from Union County, Ill., State's Attorney Tyler Edmonds, the charges came after a four-month investigation by the Union County Sheriff's Department into methamphetamine and heroin activity at a home at 115 Kohler St. in Anna.

Deputies executed a search warrant at the home Aug. 16 and arrested Ty W. Dalton, 40; Jeanne L. Dalton, 42; and Frankie L. Fowler, 20, all of Anna, the release stated.

Authorities seized the house and two vehicles as part of the investigation, and forfeiture actions are pending in Union County Circuit Court, Edmonds reported.

A grand jury indicted the Daltons, Fowler and four other suspects on charges related to the investigation, Edmonds reported.

Ty Dalton was charged with two counts of methamphetamine-related child endangerment and one count each of conspiracy to participate in methamphetamine production; unlawful possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver; and unlawful possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials, the release said.

Jeanne Dalton, aka Jeanne L. Rowan, was charged with one count of unlawful possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver and two counts each of unlawful delivery of controlled substance; methamphetamine-related child endangerment; and unlawful use of property in violation of the Methamphetamine Control and Community Protection Act, the release said.

Fowler was charged with one count each of methamphetamine delivery and possession of methamphetamine, the release said.

Jenny Spurlock, 30, of Jonesboro; Chance C. Chapman, 18, of rural Cobden, Ill.; and Larry B. Ledbetter, 27, of rural Wolf Lake, Ill., were charged with one count each of unlawful delivery of controlled substance, the release said.

Meagan L. Miller, 20, of rural Dongola, Ill., was charged with one count of conspiracy to participate in methamphetamine production and 10 counts of unlawful purchase of a methamphetamine precursor, the release said.

The suspects were being held at the Jackson County Jail in Murphysboro, Ill., in lieu of $100,000 bond, the release said.

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources; Union County Animal Control; Jackson County, Ill., Sheriff's Department; Murphysboro, Ill., Police Department; and Anna Police Department assisted Union County deputies in executing the warrant, the release said.

In an unrelated case, Danny J. Cook, 49, of Anna was sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of unlawful participation in methamphetamine production, Edmonds reported.

Cook's arrest followed an investigation by the Union County Sheriff's Department, Edmonds reported.
