Sesame Street Live's production of "Big Bird and the ABC's" drew a total of 8,354 people to the four shows at the Show Me Center over the weekend.
Friday's show, which featured $6 tickets, was the best attended, with an audience of 3,624.
Saturday morning's show drew 1,734, and 2,136 attended the afternoon performance.
Easter Sunday's audience was the smallest 860.
Capacity for each of the shows was 5,000.
This was the third visit to the Show Me Center for Sesame Street Live. The same show, "Big Bird and the ABC's," appeared here in 1989.
A different Sesame Street show was brought to the Show Me Center in 1991.
Will Lofdahl, events coordinator of the center, said the 1989 production drew the best crowds, while attendance dropped off about equally for the past two.
