Semoball Awards speaker will be announced today

This year's keynote speaker for the Semoball Awards will be revealed today.

The announcement is scheduled for 9 a.m. at HealthPoint Fitness in Cape Girardeau and will be live-streamed at semoball.com and broadcast live on SEMO ESPN's morning sports show, The Sports Huddle, at 92.9 FM and 1220 AM.

The speaker will follow two-time ESPY award-winning athlete Kyle Maynard, who delivered the inaugural keynote speech last year for the awards show that recognizes local high-school athletes and coaches.

The Semoball Awards, presented by SoutheastHEALTH, will take place July 11 at the Southeast Missouri State University River Campus. Title sponsors for the event are First Midwest Bank (Official Bank Sponsor), Harry Blackwell Family of Dealerships, Athlon Sports and SEMO ESPN Radio. SoutheastHEALTH is the presenting sponsor.
