The ACT will be given Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in the third floor lounge area of the Scully Building. Those taking the exam should bring a photo I.D. or a signed letter of identification.

Students taking the test may ask that their test score be reported only to Southeast. This differs from students who take the exam on national test dates.

The cost is $38. The application deadline is 5 p.m. Tuesday. To register, call (314) 651-2836.

"This is being offered as a service to students who were unable to take the ACT on the national test date last fall and who would still like to begin school in January or who would simply like an opportunity to improve their score," said Juan Crites, director of admissions at Southeast.

Checks for either test should be made payable to Southeast and mailed to Testing Services, MS 5100, Southeast Missouri State University, One University Plaza, Cape Girardeau, 63701. Persons also may pay the fees at the Testing Services office at 713 N. Henderson.
