Five Southeast Missouri State University students will be honored in Jefferson City March 16 at the third annual Student Achievement and Recognition Day.
The event is sponsored by the Council on Public Higher Education for Missouri (COPHE).
Southeast students Jeffrey Davis of Braggadocio, Boyd Lumsden of Bloomfield, Todd McNab of Cape Girardeau, Holly Stroder of Sedgewickville, and Renee Williams of Canyon Lake, Texas, will be among 31 students honored from Missouri's public four-year schools.
The recipients, all seniors, were selected for their contributions to campus life and scholastic achievement.
Honorees will be recognized at a luncheon program in the Jefferson City Capital Plaza Hotel by Gov. Mel Carnahan, Senate President Pro-Tem James Matthewson and House Speaker Bob Griffin.
