SEMO president chairs national leadership group's meeting

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Southeast Missouri State University president Dr. Ken Dobbins acted as chair of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities Board of Directors at the panel's annual meeting Monday.

AASCU is the leadership association of 420 public colleges and universities, committed to giving students access to affordable education.

In addition to his service as the board's secretary-treasurer, Dobbins serves the AASCU as a Missouri representative, vice chairman and chairman of the Committee on Professional Development and as a faculty member at the association's New Presidents' Academy.
