The Southeast Missouri Music Academy will hold a series of winter recitals next week at Southeast Missouri State University.
The recitals are scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday in the University Center Ballroom, and 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in Brandt Music Hall Room 205.
Monday's recital will feature a performance by the Southeast Missouri Youth String Ensemble.
The Southeast Missouri Music Academy, a non-profit organization under the auspices of the music department, is dedicated to enriching the lives of students by stimulating a lifelong appreciation of music.
The academy, formerly known as the Music Preparatory Program, guides the development of basic musical and performing skills. Becky Fulgham is the director.
