Southeast Missouri State University announced Friday it will expand its services at area higher education centers in Sikeston, Mo., Kennett, Mo., and Malden, Mo.
The university will offer a bachelor of general studies degree completion program at the sites beginning this summer. Now students studying at those facilities can earn the degree without ever stepping foot on the Cape Girardeau campus.
Currently the only degree-completion programs offered at the higher education centers are bachelor's and master's degrees in education.
The degree is flexible, with no majors or minors required, but students may choose to emphasize in areas like business, communication, criminal justice, industrial management or psychology.
Enrollment for the program begins Monday at each of the centers. For more information, go to www.semo.edu/bulletin.
