The department of accounting and finance at Southeast Missouri State University recently acquired the "Commerce Clearing House Tax Research" computer package to use for instructional and research purposes.
Deborah Beard, chairman of the department, said the tax package represents the latest in information technology available.
"This state-of-the-art information technology enables our students and faculty to efficiently and effectively conduct research on practical tax problems rather than search by hand through volumes of hardcopy materials," Beard said.
