Southeast Missouri State University junior Theresa Haug of Bonne Terre has been selected to take part in a Washington Center seminar titled "Campaign '96: The Inauguration."

The seminar will take place against the backdrop of the inauguration of President Clinton for a second term.

The seminar will delve into the issues behind the pomp and circumstance. Students and faculty will meet national leaders who will share their insights on the politics and the policies of Clinton's coming term.

"I am so excited," Haug said. "Washington, D.C., is my favorite place to go. This will be great because I will be able to meet other students with similar interests from all across the country."

The faculty director for the seminar is Dr. David Kozak, professor of public policy and director of the Institute for Policy and Leadership Studies at Gannon University.
