The National Association for Campus Activities' (NACA) Illiana Region, headed by Robert Beodeker, director of the University Center at Southeast Missouri State University, was recognized as the "Most Improved Region" during the 1992 national convention Feb. 18-22 in Dallas.
The region was cited for its improved financial position, its educational emphasis at conference and unit workshops and the foundations it established for future programs.
One of 11 regions, Illiana includes 92 member schools in Illinois and Indiana and Southeast Missouri.
NACA is a national organization of more than 1,100 member schools and 550 talent firms representing all 50 states and the Canadian provinces. Headquartered in Columbia, S.C., NACA is the largest campus activities, non-profit association. It provides education, information and resources for students and administrators to establish quality campus activities.
