A two-day seminar Thursday and Friday focusing on the advancements and challenges in long-term care will be hosted by Southeast Missouri Hospital.
"Bridging the Gap, Practical Strategies for the Skilled Nursing Facility Team," will be held at the Drury Lodge.
The seminar is designed for nursing home administrators, certified nurse assistants, registered and licensed practical nurses, social workers and other health professionals, and will feature guest lecturers from several Southeast Missouri health-care facilities.
Diana L. Johnson, director of nurses at Providence Place in Warsaw, will keynote the event.
The program has been approved for 12.9 contact hours by the Missouri Nurses Association. The cost is $30 per day or $50 for both days.
