SEMINAR FOR LPNs SET AT ST. FRANCIS FOR APRIL 6

The second annual seminar for licensed practical nurses will be held April 6 at St. Francis Health and Education Centre.

The seminar, titled "Your Profession in the '90s," will be from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Dr. Rita Tadych will be the featured speaker of the day and will discuss "The Legal Boundaries of the LPN." She is the Missouri State Board of Nursing's assistant director for discipline and practice.

Other presenters will include Jan Eichhorn, director of risk management at St. Francis Medical Center; Debbie Hinnant, St. Francis clinical resource nurse in pain management; and Marti Sturm, director of the St. Francis Center for Recovery.

Registration fee is $25 for non-St. Francis employees and $10 for full-time students. Enrollment is limited to 100 and the registration deadline is Tuesday.
