SELLS MOLDS

Bob and Martha Nelson, owners of Dove Crete Castings, 1217 S. Kingshighway, recently sold the rights to manufacture molds of 23 of its products. The purchaser, Nunnikhoven Co. of Mediapolis, Iowa, is one of the largest mold producers in the U.S. It will produce rubber molds from the Dove Crete Castings original pieces.

The purchase agreement covers a variety of yard ornaments Dove Crete created, including an eagle with a four foot wingspan. The Nelsons will produce more pieces for the Iowa company on a regular basis.

The Nelsons started Dove Crete Castings three years ago. They produce about 1,000 cast concrete products, including yard ornaments, picnic tables and planters. The shop is open seven days a week, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
