A free seminar on the health effects of secondhand smoke, which was canceled in February due to weather, has been rescheduled for March 23 at St. Francis Medical Center.
The one-hour program, presented by otolaryngoligist, Dr. Richard Martin, will begin at 7 p.m. in the St. Francis Health and Education Centre.
Topics to be discussed include the incidence of health problems among children and adults exposed to smoke and laws regarding clean indoor air.
The Health and Education Centre is on the northwest side of the medical center. Follow the signs from the Medical Center's Mount Auburn Road entrance.
The program is free, but seating is limited and preregistration is requested. Call the education department at 339-6262.
