Second Cape Girardeau school forum tonight

Cape Girardeau school officials will discuss possible grade reconfigurations and construction projects during a forum tonight.

Administrators, parents and community leaders have been meeting to prepare ideas for a comprehensive facilities plan that will outline construction and renovation projects throughout the district.

School officials are taking the planning process to the public with a series of public meetings. Tonight’s forum is the second in a series of three. It will be at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria at Jefferson Elementary School, 520 S. Minnesota Ave.

The third meeting will be at 6 p.m. Monday in the cafeteria of Blanchard Elementary,1829 N. Sprigg St.
